GoPayments Terms of Service
Last Updated: April 24, 2025
Welcome to GoPayments!
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GoPayments's services, including any payment services provided through the GoPayments platform (collectively, the "Services"). Please read these Terms carefully.
By using GoPayments, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our Services.
1. About GoPayments
GoPayments provides technology that allows you to make payments to merchants for goods and services, using either traditional payment methods (such as credit or debit cards) or cryptocurrencies (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other supported digital assets).
GoPayments itself does not sell goods or services to you — we only facilitate your payment transactions on behalf of merchants.
2. Your Use of GoPayments
- Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction.
- Provide accurate and complete information when using our Services.
- Only use our Services for lawful purposes.
You are responsible for ensuring that any information provided during a payment transaction (such as payment details, cryptocurrency wallet addresses, etc.) is accurate.
3. Payments and Transactions
When you authorize a payment through GoPayments:
- You authorize GoPayments to process your payment on behalf of the merchant.
- Payments may be processed using traditional methods (e.g., cards, bank transfers) or supported cryptocurrencies.
Cryptocurrency Transactions:
- You are responsible for initiating the transfer correctly, including network fees.
- Transactions in crypto are generally irreversible once confirmed on the blockchain.
- The final payment amount may include applicable network or conversion fees.
Important: GoPayments does not guarantee price stability or the value of cryptocurrencies. You are solely responsible for any fluctuations in value between initiation and completion of the transaction.
4. Merchant Responsibility
GoPayments is not responsible for:
- The quality, delivery, or warranty of goods or services provided by merchants.
- Any disputes between you and a merchant.
Please contact the merchant directly regarding your orders.
5. Refunds
Refunds, if applicable, are managed by the merchant according to their refund policy.
GoPayments may assist in the technical processing of refunds but is not obligated to resolve any merchant-related disputes.
For cryptocurrency payments:
- Refunds may only be issued in the original cryptocurrency, at the discretion of the merchant.
- Transaction fees and network volatility may affect the final refund amount.
6. Prohibited Activities
You may not use GoPayments to:
- Violate any laws or regulations.
- Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful conduct.
- Facilitate payments for illegal products or services.
GoPayments reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms.
7. Limitation of Liability
GoPayments is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Loss of profits, business, data, or cryptocurrency value arising from your use of the Services.
Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees (if any) paid to GoPayments for the transaction giving rise to the claim.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and share your personal information.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Terms and update the "Last Updated" date.
Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
